Vancouver, BC, – [February 2, 2026] – Optima Living is bringing the world a little closer to home with the launch of its new Passport to Paradise campaign—an immersive, destination-inspired experience designed to joyfully engage residents across all communities. Throughout February and March, Optima Living communities will transform into vibrant cultural escapes, complete with global cuisine, themed décor, and enriching activities.

For many seniors, the desire to travel remains strong, yet long flights, physical limitations, rising costs, and uncertainty can make such adventures feel out of reach. Passport to Paradise removes those barriers by offering residents and individuals who are interested in trying senior living a comfortable, inclusive, and meaningful way to experience the richness of world cultures—no passport required.

“Our commitment to residents goes beyond care,” shares Carmen Chung, Director of Marketing at Optima Living. “We want to create moments that inspire, uplift, and bring people together. Passport to Paradise does exactly that by offering an immersive way to explore the world from the comfort of home, turning everyday community life into an opportunity for connection, discovery, and shared joy.”

Designed for residents, their guests, and individuals considering retirement living, this cruise-inspired journey invites participants to experience cultures in a fresh and imaginative way as Optima Living communities become the destination. Boarding passes, itineraries, and keepsake passport scrapbooks guide each adventure, transforming every visit into a shared experience.

Thoughtfully crafted menus, atmospheric décor and music, hands-on activities, and sensory touches bring each destination to life as participants “travel” through Italy, France, Hawaii, and Greece. Together, these moments deepen resident engagement while giving prospective seniors an authentic and welcoming introduction to the vibrant lifestyle within Optima Living communities.

Current Optima Living residents will experience “visiting” different countries throughout February and March. Non-residents interested in trying senior living for a night are encouraged to contact their preferred Optima Living community for availability.
