77 funded beds and two private-pay beds. 24-hour Complex Care provided by licensed Registered Nurses and Registered Care Aides. Four-bed wardrooms, semi-private rooms, and small and large private rooms are available. Residents are first admitted into a four-bed ward. There is an internal wait list for Residents that wish to move into a semi private or private room. West Vancouver Care Centre does not feature a special care unit.
Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income, which covers the cost of food and accommodation. Minimum and maximum rates apply. There may be other costs not included in the resident contribution.
Activities are provided six days a week, with a half-day of activities on Saturday. Activities include musical therapy, exercises, arts and crafts classes, bingo, news and views, gardening, entertainment, sing-alongs, church service and private mass, walking program, and birthday celebrations.
There is a West Vancouver Blue Bus that stops in front of the care centre. The Handy Dart and Senior Centre bus will pick up/drop off registered residents.
Physiotherapy, podiatry, dental hygiene are available. A licensed dietician reviews the menu and all resident diets.
