At Optima Living, the care and comfort of our residents always come first. One of the ways we support that commitment is by bringing our leaders together each year to reflect, listen, and plan for the future.
This year, our Chief Operating Officer, Angela Grottoli, led the 2026 Road Shows, welcoming General Managers from across our communities to gather at Wisteria Place in British Columbia, Cedarwood Station in Southern Alberta, and Lewis Estates in Northern Alberta.
These gatherings are not about targets or numbers. As Angela shared, “Our goal is not to get to a meaningful number target. It’s to get to a meaningful impact target.” In other words, our focus is on the experience of the people who call Optima home.
The Road Shows create space for honest conversations about what is working well and where we can continue to improve. Leaders shared ideas, learned from one another, and aligned on priorities that will help strengthen daily life in our communities. As Elena Grishina, General Manager at Wisteria Place, noted, “We are lucky as a team that we have a leadership group that wants to hear from us!”
For residents and families, this work happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every day. It helps ensure welcoming environments, responsive leadership, and a continued focus on meaningful living.
We are grateful to every leader who participated and contributed their insight. Together, we continue building communities where people feel supported, valued, and truly at home.
