Kamloops, BC, – March 17, 2026 – Optima Living, a Top 10 Canadian owner and operator of seniors living and care communities, today announced a new name and brand for its Hamlets at Westsyde community: Westsyde Landing. This change marks a new chapter for the seniors living and care community in Kamloops’ Westsyde neighbourhood.
Westsyde Landing is Optima Living’s largest and most diverse seniors community, supporting residents across independent living, assisted living, and long-term care in Kamloops, while allowing people to age in place and couples to remain together as care needs evolve. The new brand reflects the community’s strong connection to its location and neighbourhood and Optima Living’s commitment to delivering home-like living and care for Canadian seniors.

Optima Living acquired Westsyde Landing in 2022 from H&H Total Care, in partnership with Axium Infrastructure. Since the transition, Optima has remained focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care while fostering a consistent and welcoming experience for residents and families.
Located along the North Thompson River and surrounded by trails and natural beauty, the community is deeply connected to both its setting and the broader Westsyde community. Home to initiatives such as an on-site daycare, the Westsyde Wardrobe, music therapy, and regular programming, Westsyde Landing is a community that fosters connection, engagement, and joy.
Westsyde Landing will continue to offer the same range of high-quality seniors living and care services, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Long-Term Care.
