Lauren MacLeod is the Head of Legal at Optima Living. In her role, she leads all contract management, compliance, and risk management initiatives. Since joining Optima Living, Lauren has significantly impacted our mission to provide home-style living for seniors.

Lauren brings a wealth of experience. She began her career at a Bay Street law firm, advising clients in the seniors housing sector. She then moved in-house almost 10 years ago to one of Canada's largest owners and operators of seniors housing, where, most recently, she held the position of Vice President, Legal Services & Privacy Officer. We look forward to the valuable contributions she will continue to bring to Optima.

When she is not working, Lauren spends time playing with her two young children and cats, cooking with her husband, and planning her next trip.
