As we look forward to 2025, we are so grateful for the incredible moments of 2024! This year brought so much joy, connection, and growth to our communities, creating meaningful bonds and lasting memories. From celebrating new milestones to embracing new opportunities, 2024 has truly been a year to remember.

Bell Let's Talk Day

Talking about mental health is the first step towards creating change.

On January 22nd, Canadians were encouraged to have conversations to reduce stigma and promote awareness surrounding mental health. Let’s extend kindness, compassion, and understanding to each other.

Happy Lunar New Year!

Each year, the Lunar New Year begins on the second new moon after the winter solstice. This year marks the Year of the Snake! From all of us at Optima Living, we wish you a year filled with good luck and happiness.

Our New Year’s party was an unforgettable celebration! We had a wonderful time with an Elvis impersonator who brought the room to life with iconic songs and captivating energy. The evening was made even more delightful with a spread of delicious food. Happy New Year!
The Wisteria Place Market brought creativity and community together this holiday season. From beautiful floral arrangements and delicious baking to artisan goods, there was something for everyone to enjoy! A big thank you to all who came out and made this event so special.

We were feeling the holiday spirit at Cottonwood Village as we gathered to create our own unique Christmas ornaments!


Happy New Year from Cottonwood Village! Our residents rang in the New Year with the theme Glamour and Glow.

Amazing music, charcuterie boards, and refreshing drinks, made it an unforgettable evening for everyone.

The Grinch himself made a surprise visit to Everitt Gardens, bringing plenty of laughs and holiday cheer. Residents loved posing for photos and getting into the festive spirit. It’s moments like these that make the holidays so special! 
We’re thrilled to announce Joan, Helen, Nadyne, and Barb as the winners of our festive Door Decorating Contest! Each door was a masterpiece of creativity and holiday cheer. A big thank you to everyone who participated—you’ve all made Everitt Gardens feel extra magical this season.

Residents, families, and team members recently came together at Parkwood Place for music, food, drinks, and good cheer! We closed off December with heartfelt gratitude and wish everyone the best for 2025.

The holiday season at Meadowlands was truly special. Residents enjoyed a wonderful performance by Neal Siedlecki and a festive visit from The Grinch at our Grinchmas celebration!

We recently enjoyed two wonderful Christmas dinners! During these celebrations, we also recognized our residents who have been with us here at The Hamlets at Red Deer for 5 years. Thank you to everyone who joined us for these delicious suppers.

We rang in the new year with a special "ball drop" at The Hamlets at Red Deer! Our residents enjoyed a stunning New Year's aerial performance.


We recently held a Christmas Social where we enjoyed eggnog, donuts and reindeer games. Merry Christmas from Deer Park Village!

Our residents had a fantastic time learning to make soap. It was an interesting learning experience that also doubled as a wonderful stocking stuffer to gift to friends and family!
Happy New Year from Deer Park Village! We rang in the New Year with a fun party featuring cocktails, mocktails, and delicious snacks made by our food services team, and a fun mystery game.
A HUGE thank you to our amazing residents and vendors for making Cedarwood Station's Sugar Plum Market a SWEET success! Also a special thank you to Mayor Peter Brown for surprising us with a visit. Thanks to everyone for being part of our community and for participating in a beloved holiday tradition.
The Hamlets at Duncan recently hosted a spirit week. We loved seeing our team members participating and sharing their holiday spirit with festive headwear!
