Every year, four residents
from our community organize
a garage sale. They received
donations of items and goods
from our neighbours in and
around Sherwood Park and
Edmonton.
|
|
|
The garage sale is set up
in our bistro where anyone
can purchase the donated
items. A total of $740 was
raised and all proceeds were
donated to Strathcona Food
Bank.

We had a great time at
Slave Lake's annual
Riverboat Daze festival,
which was complete
with carnival rides, a
marine-themed parade, a
concert, s’mores roasting,
food trucks, and
more.
Our Sweetgrass float was a
big pirate ship on wheels,
and we even had our own
mermaids and sharks. We
arrrr looking
forward to next
year!
