were a huge success!

Our residents recently enjoyed getting portraits with a twist! We had a fantastic time hosting caricaturist Laurel Hawkswell at Aster Gardens.



We spent a lovely afternoon working with our hands during pottery classes and horticulture therapy.



We spent a lovely afternoon learning to cook Aloo Tikki, a delicious Indian potato patty snack, with Prabh!




Our residents recently visited The Boathouse Restaurant on Kitsilano Beach. The food was delicious and the views were absolutely beautiful!


We were thrilled to spend Happy Hour with Peter Williams, a talented pianist and musician. It was a wonderful afternoon!


Everyone at Wisteria Place had a fantastic time celebrating Cinco de Mayo! Our festive teatime featured delicious Mexican appetizers like pineapple salsa, guacamole, and churros. We had a blast snapping photos and playing trivia!
Over the Victoria Day long weekend, our residents gathered to enjoy a charming celebration. Cucumber sandwiches, delicate macarons, and warm scones were served, the perfect additions to a delightful afternoon. 
We understand the importance of having photos to share with your family. Cottonwood Village held a glamour photoshoot on Mother's Day for residents to pass the pictures along to their children and grandchildren.

We recently held a fundraiser for a local playschool and sold beautiful flowers.

We invited some furry friends to come and play at Cottonwood Village. Everyone had so much fun!
Let's go Oilers! Residents at Laurel Heights are always excited to cheer on their favourite team.


We recently held a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Laurel Heights. Our residents celebrated in style with delicious margaritas and nachos.

We enjoyed the beautiful weather in the courtyard while snacking on delicious banana splits. Nothing says spring like sunshine, smiles, and a sweet treat shared with friends!
Viva Las Vegas! We rolled into Sin City, hit the Bobby Stauffer jackpot, and came out with a series win! 

Each month we have a Takeout Friday where we order a delicious takeout lunch for our residents. This month's lunch came from Edo Japan, and it was fresh, flavourful, and delicious!



On Business Administration Day, we celebrated our wonderful team member, Rose! Rose is a dedicated and hardworking member of our team, and we appreciate everything she does for us!

Parkwood Place recently attended the Navigating Community-Based Resources for Seniors event hosted by the Victoria Seniors Business Network. It was a great opportunity to connect and share valuable resources with the community. Thank you to the VSBN for organizing such an impactful event!
We recently had the pleasure of hosting the Goward House Singers! 
Their performance brought such beautiful energy to our community. Thank you to the performers for such a memorable visit. 

Did you know that Red Deer once had a professional baseball team? It was also the time of Model Ts! We learned about this and so much more at our History in the PM event!


Our 1950 vinyl decorating craft was one for the record. We had fun creating with paint, stickers, rhinestones, and paper quilting! 


Sundays are always filled with joy in our community! Lately we've been enjoying the lovely weather and breathing in the fresh air!
