Optima Living’s diverse employees across Alberta and British Columbia participate in a unique company culture where both residents and team members are family.
We’d like to highlight one of those employees, who, like Optima Living itself, is working at top speed, striving for excellence, and aiming for the finish line! Enter Alison Andrews-Paul, Project Coordinator at our Vancouver office — and a top runner in Track and Field.
Alison embodies Optima’s values while at work, keeping residents in mind when she prepares policies and project plans that could impact them. She understands that our focus is on seniors living their best lives when we welcome them home to our residences.
But just as Optima Living has speed in the market, Alison has speed on the track. In March, she competed in the women’s 800-metre race at New Zealand’s Track and Field event – and won!
Since the big win in New Zealand, Alison has competed in Canada. In July she came first again in a Montreal race. She also did well in a recent Edmonton run.
We are proud of Alison, and proud of all the people who do great work, day in and day out, at Optima Living.
Here’s a short video you might like to watch of Alison being interviewed in New Zealand, after the win.
