March Feels Inspirational
We are thrilled to welcome the springtime and say hello to March. According to the Government of Canada, 6.8% of the total population have had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and over 88% of adults living in senior communities have also been vaccinated. Not less than four vaccines are currently approved for use in Canada. We think that’s something to celebrate.
Furthermore, the weather will be getting warmer and the days are definitely getting longer. The spring equinox was on March 20, which means the days are getting longer faster right now.
We are also looking forward to an improving economy across Canada as vaccination ramps up. Both Alberta and British Columbia are looking at ways to help boost the economy including waiving business fees and expanding grants. Even the airlines are adding flights to sunny destinations to accommodate the increased possibility of travel.
COVID-19 is not over yet, but we are confident that better days are ahead, both in Canada and around the world. As each country vaccinates more individuals, the economy will continue to improve worldwide.
There is a new normal in our senior communities as we all get used to wearing masks and washing our hands a lot more than we used to. But the future is bright, and we are celebrating the spring sunshine. By the way, it’s still possible to move into one of communities even in the midst of COVID-19. We take all kinds of precautions to protect everyone, but we are welcoming new residents every day.
