Optima Living Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Natalie Ku, CFO EDMONTON, AB and VANCOUVER, B.C. / February 13, 2023 – Optima Living (the “Company”), a prominent operator in the seniors care living space in Western Canada, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Natalie Ku as our first Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), as the Company continues on its growth trajectory.

Overseeing the Accounting, Finance, and Payroll departments, Natalie has over 20 years of finance and operations experience in both private and public companies. Her experience includes executing organizational goals across multiple functions such as finance, strategy, operations, marketing, sales, human resources, and technology.

“In light of recent growth initiatives, Optima Living management felt the time had come to strengthen our bench in order to effectively deliver on our operational goals and continue to meet the needs of our resident communities across the spectrum of care,” said Karim Kassam, Co-Founder, and Principal of Optima Living. In this regard, “I am pleased to announce that, as part of Optima Living's continued growth, we have decided to make additional investments in the Accounting, Finance, and Payroll functions,” he stated.

Natalie has previously held senior positions such as CFO, COO, VP Finance, and Controller. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a CPA, CMA, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants, and claiming to be a food connoisseur. Natalie is a passionate and caring leader who enjoys learning, developing people and teams, and establishing long-term relationships.
