[Vancouver, BC – June 6] – Optima Living is proud to unveil a refreshed brand identity that reflects the organization’s growth, purpose, and continued commitment to residents, families, and team members across Western Canada.
What began as a simple sketch between two founders—on the back of a napkin over coffee—has become a leading provider of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Supportive Living, and Memory Living communities. Optima Living’s expansion from one residence to 40 across Alberta and British Columbia underscores a growing need for high-quality, thoughtful seniors’ housing in Canada.
Now, Optima Living’s new visual identity honours that original vision while embracing a bold future.
“Our journey started with a heartfelt sketch that captured our dream of creating a better way to age,” said Farid Damji, Co-Founder and Principal. “That dream has become reality, and this new brand honours our past while symbolizing the resident-centred approach that is at the core of all that we do.”
The updated logo retains the iconic mountain imagery—representing resilience, strength, and the company’s Western Canadian roots—but with a modernized look. A warm, approachable typeface, a nature-inspired colour palette, and a central human figure reflect Optima Living’s focus on clarity, connection, and care.
“This rebrand is more than a design update—it’s a reflection of who we’ve become and where we’re going,” said Karim Kassam, Co-Founder and Principal. “As we grow and welcome new communities and team members into the Optima family, we remain anchored by our purpose: to ensure every person feels safe, respected, and truly at home.”
At Optima Living’s communities across Western Canada, seniors receive care and support that meet their unique needs—from active, independent lifestyles to specialized memory care. This growth has been powered by long-term partnerships and a shared belief in the enduring value of mission-driven senior living.
“We are proud of the trust we’ve built with residents, families, and partners,” said Ali Shivji, Principal focused on growth and expansion. “This new look represents the confidence of our partners and the deep relationships we’ve formed—and it paves the way for continued impact as we scale our vision across Canada.”
As the organization continues to expand, Optima Living remains deeply committed to what matters most: people, place, and community. Every community is designed to foster a true sense of home—where residents feel a strong connection to those around them, where team members are valued, and where every space is built to support belonging, purpose, and care.
At the heart of Optima Living’s brand remains its North Star: Let us welcome you home. That guiding statement continues to shape every interaction and every decision, across every community.
