SGP Purchasing Partner Network Donates 5000 Masks to Optima Living

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Silver Group Purchasing Partner Network (SGP) made a generous donation of 5000 masks to Optima Living for use in seniors’ communities across Western Canada. This donation came at a time when personal protective equipment was in increasingly short supply, and the masks were effective in the goal of keeping seniors—the population most vulnerable to COVID-19—safe.

“We own and manage over 130 Senior Care residences in Canada and are intimately connected to the industry and have become known as the purchasing network of choice and opportunity, delivering the best quality and value through people, products and technology to the seniors’ market. We were happy to be able to contribute to your PPE supplies in a small way, to continue to support our longtime Partner, Optima Living. We wish all continued health and safety through these challenging times, said Jason Horne, Senior Director at SGP. “Keep up the fight and let’s hope this battle comes to an end soon.”

SGP’s Robert Cunningham added “We are glad we could help in keeping your staff and seniors safe! Stay well and strong because together we will overcome this virus!”

In an email to SGP, Optima Living Co-Founder and Principal Karim Kassam wrote “Thanks again for the generous donation of masks to our sites.  We have distributed them all and because of your support we were able to fast track universal masking.”

The team at Optima Living extends their sincere gratitude to SGP for their consideration and generosity. Learn more about SGP at their website, sgpnetwork.com
