Optima Living Welcomes Angela Grottoli as Inaugural Chief Operating Officer

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA / October 10, 2023 – We are pleased to extend a warm welcome to Angela Grottoli, a dynamic leader in the seniors housing and care sector, with more than two decades of expertise in senior living, encompassing Operations, Sales, and Real Estate. Angela's distinguished journey finds its newest chapter within the Optima family, as she assumes the inaugural role of Chief Operating Officer in late September 2023. 

Consistent with our pursuit of excellence in everything we do, Optima Living is thrilled to introduce the addition of a pivotal role to deliver on our commitment to operational excellence. Over the past 15 years, Angela has held several senior executive positions with Chartwell Retirement Residences, a Canadian leader in the retirement and long-term care residence sector in Canada. She has also held several board member positions with major seniors industry associations across Canada. 
Angela embodies Optima’s values (respect, dignity, doing the right thing and working together), and her experience in the areas of operations and sales, asset management and partner relations, real estate operations, growth and integration, acquisition and developments make her the ideal choice to serve as Optima’s first Chief Operating Officer. 
In her capacity as Chief Operating Officer, Angela will play a pivotal role in navigating Optima forward in its core pursuits: Excellence, Inspiration, Governance, and Growth—all in the service of enriching the lives of our cherished seniors and dedicated employees.
