Pack Your Suitcase Campaign - Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility: The Pack Your Suitcase Campaign (the “Campaign”) is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Québec) who are 55+ years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Optima Seniors Management Inc. (“Optima Living”), its affiliates and subsidiaries, the seniors housing communities it manages, its advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

  2. Campaign Period: The Campaign ends December 31, 2024. To be eligible, all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST on December 31, 2024. Winners will be selected in January 2025.

  3. How to Enter:

No purchase is necessary. Skill-testing questions are required.

To participate, individuals must book and complete a tour at one of the participating Optima Living residences in Alberta and British Columbia enrolled in the Campaign (each a “Prize Location”). At the end of the tour, individuals will receive a Campaign Entry Form.

Only one entry per person is permitted. Any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be void.

  4. Prize: There are a total of four (4) prizes available to be won. Each winner will receive a two-night or three-day stay (the “Prize”) at the Prize Location of their choosing. The Prize includes accommodation for up to two (2) people and may include additional amenities specified by Optima Living. Transportation to and from the Prize Location is not included. The approximate value of each Prize is $400-600, depending on the Prize Location chosen.

  5. Winner Selection:

A draw will be conducted in January 2025.

Each potential winner will be chosen from all eligible entries received during the contest period. Once a potential winner has been selected, they will not be eligible to receive additional Prizes or participate in future draws.

Each potential winner will be contacted by telephone. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within a five-day period or does not meet all of the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions, the prize will be forfeited, and another name will be selected by way of a random draw from the remaining eligible entries.

Before being declared a winner, each potential winner will be required to have i) correctly completed the Entry Form, including correctly answering Optima Living’s skill-testing question; ii) complied with all other Campaign rules, all in the sole discretion of Optima Living.

Chances of winning depend on the number of entries received.

General Conditions:

By participating, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Entrants who do not comply with these terms and conditions are subject to disqualification by Optima Living at its sole discretion.

Optima Living reserves the right to modify or cancel the Campaign at any time without prior notice.

Any personal data collected during the Campaign will be used in accordance with Optima Living's privacy policy.

Entrants will be required to answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, Optima Living’s time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question on the Entry Form.
